Butaca TV and Samsung join forces to celebrate national pride with free content

A new partnership between Butaca TV and Samsung promises to commemorate Mexico’s Independence Day throughout the month of September through a wide selection of content digital whose patriotic essence will leave the audience on the edge of their seats.

According to the Butaca TV statement, the public will have at their disposal a wide variety of titles that can be found on the free streaming platform of FAST channels, Samsung TV Plus, channel 2699; and on Butaca.tv.

“This Independence Month, enjoy a Mexican movie every day on ButacaTV FAST, within the Samsung TV Plus FAST service, completely free! A daily tribute to national pride (…) Every night at 7pm, a different film will be presented that embodies the unique character of Mexican cinema.“, the entertainment giant announced.

The public will be able to enjoy free programming in honor of the national month on channel 2699 of Samsung TV Plus or on Butaca TV.

The programming, which the public will be able to access through Smart TVs, Smart Monitors, Family Hub Refrigerators, and Samsung Freestyle projectors, aims to reflect pride in Mexican roots, as well as honor the voices of immigrants.

According to both entertainment giants, the catalog will feature audience favorites and award-winning titles, such as: “Expiration Date”, winner of the Morelia and Guadalajara Film Festivals; “The Attack”, by Jorge Fons; “Morelos”, nominated for multiple Ariel Awards; and “Hijo de Monarcas”, winner of the Sundance Film Festival.
