Arizona man arrested for making terrorist threats online

Authorities reported on Sunday that An Arizona man wanted for allegedly making terroristic threats online has been arrested in Montana.

Flagstaff police said Justin Wayne Hill, 36, was arrested Sunday in Bozeman, according to The Associated Press.

Police said they received reports on Friday of “Threats associated with mass shooting incidents posted on various school, government, and commercial review platforms” and a warrant was issued for Hill’s arrest.

Police are asking for the public’s help in locating Hill, who lives in the northern Arizona town of Ash Fork, about 50 miles (82 kilometers) west of Flagstaff.

Authorities released a photograph of the car he was likely driving, with Arizona license plates, and Hill was arrested shortly afterward.

Police did not immediately release what criminal charges Hill could face, saying more information would be made public when it becomes available.

A few weeks ago, A 15-year-old boy has been charged with allegedly making bomb threats against his Maryland high school in May.

According to the Montgomery County Police Department, the teenager worked with a 12-year-old boy from Pennsylvania to report threats to Bethesda-Chevy Chase High Schoolwhich caused the school to close.

Police said the 15-year-old found the 12-year-old on social media and allegedly paid him an undisclosed amount of money to call and report the suspects. Authorities have not identified either boy.

The 15-year-old has been charged with multiple felonies, including threats of mass violence, making false statements and extortion.
