Once again, Robert Anthony De Niro, a renowned Hollywood actor, ranted against Donald Trump and after calling him a “clown” he chose Kamala Harris to support her on the ticket.

For months now, The 1980s film idol has promoted the message that a possible return of the 78-year-old Republican to the White House would put at risk the freedom enjoyed by Americans.because he would be a vengeful and repressive leader of those who do not support his political ideas.

“Under Trump, this type of government would disappear from the earth. I don’t mean to scare you. No, no, wait, Maybe it is my intention to scare them, if he returns to the White House, “You can say goodbye to these freedoms that we all take for granted,” he said in May before Joe Biden decided to give up his political aspirations in search of re-election.

Presented as a guest on the television show “Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace?”, the 81-year-old New Yorker was asked if he had a personal problem with the former president of the nation and, without a moment’s hesitation, he lashed out against him.

“I never wanted anything to do with him. He’s a moron. He’s a jerk. Who wants to meet a clown like that?”he said.

In contrast, De Niro endorsed Kamala Harris as the most suitable alternative on the ballot. to lead the country for at least the next four years.

“We need someone like her to do it. He will make mistakes. Of course, everyone makes them. But we need someone with the right intentions.;This guy doesn’t have them and everyone knows it. It’s crazy. Period,” he stressed.

From the actor’s perspective, voting for Donald Trump would be a double mistake, since he believes that, once he is back in charge of the government, it would be very difficult to remove him from power.

“He will never leave it. And anyone who fools themselves into thinking that he is should be ashamed of themselves,” he warned.

So far, a large segment of Americans remain undecided about who they will support on the ballot, and experts warn that, with society so polarized, this segment of voters will be the ones to determine the winner of the November election.
