The presenter Karina Banda, who is married to Carlos Ponce, shared in one of the shows of ‘Desiguales’ details of the terrible experience she had during a vacation, after the house she rented through Airbnb was not even close to what she could have imagined, which made her feel cheated.
He shared his testimony after Migbelis Castellanos and Amara the Black They were honest about the bitter experiences they had to live on the famous hosting platform, so she did not want to be left behind and also shared her testimony.
Although she did not clarify whether she had this terrible experience while in the company of Carlos Ponce, Karina Banda did highlight that it was the dirtiest and most disorganized house she had ever seen in her life as an Airbnb client.
“I was scammed. We arrived at the Airbnb, I have stayed there before, and everything had been spectacular in other properties, but we arrived and there was spoiled food in the refrigerator, the sheets were dirty, the bathroom was dirty and when I say dirty, I mean dirty,” shared the beautiful Mexican at the beginning of her intervention.
She then shared that she came to the conclusion that her host was not only using the house as a vacation rental business, but that it seemed to actually be the house where he used to sleep, which was perhaps the reason why everything was so dirty and out of place.
“You could tell that the person who rented it lived there and he literally threw three shirts in a backpack and left so we could come in. Obviously, as soon as I lay down I said: ‘I can’t stay here’ and we left,” Karina said.
She then explained that the host called her to apologize for the condition in which he handed over the property and that he would send it to be cleaned, but she had already made a decision and that was not to stay there another minute.
“The host contacted me and said: ‘I can come tomorrow to clean, I can send someone to clean’. I told him: ‘I’m very sorry, I don’t want it anymore’ and they did give me all my money back,” concluded the talented Karina Banda at the end of her sad, but very enriching anecdote.
