Angela Aguilar said that she “left” her husband and he got angry because she was starting her tour and she did not accompany him. The controversial comment was made at the event ’10 years singing and dressing Mexico’ at the Mexican Consulate in Houston. At the ceremony, tribute was paid to her career as a singer.
“I left my husband to come here. And he got mad at me because his tour starts today.”
The comment was made in a joking manner, but Internet users did not take it that way, as they labeled Christian Nodal as “sexist.” for getting angry when his wife is receiving recognition in her career.
Aguilar and Nodal married on July 24 in an intimate ceremony. The couple has received harsh criticism due to the Mexican’s romantic past.
Before being with Pepe Aguilar’s daughter, he had a relationship with Cazzu and had a daughter, named Inti.

After the wedding, the singer of ‘Mujeres como tú’ has been in charge of giving statements about his daughter’s wedding. In fact, he confessed that he paid for the ceremony and, recently, he revealed what he said to Nodal when he gave Angela to him.
“What I told him was with my gaze. I nodded as if to say, ‘here it is.’ ‘Be very happy and take care of yourself,’” he said on ‘La Red Caracol.’
Despite this, she also commented that she feels that the marriage was too hasty. “Christian (Nodal) dated Angela very quickly. The decision to want to get married was very quick.”
“I am happy for her; for them, but more so for her, because she was doing what she wanted.”the artist added.
Only close friends attended Nodal and Aguilar’s wedding, with Marc Anthony and Nadia Ferreira, the salsa singer’s partner, standing out.
The news came after various rumors about a possible romantic relationship between the two.
