Taylor Swift wins Artist of the Year at the MTV VMAs

Taylor Swift is the Artist of the Year at the MTV VMas! The pop star won the Moon Person, surpassing other singers in that category such as Ariana Grande, SZA, Sabrina Carpenter, Eminem and Bad Bunny.

The event took place at the UBS Arena in New York and the artist’s victory occurred during a commercial break. The ‘Cruel Summer’ singer led the nominations with a total of 12 mentions.

“It’s because you have incredible talent. You are very versatile and you are the most sensible person,” the pop star added.

The artist was speechless for a few seconds after these words, and then expressed his admiration for Swift and praised “the amount of work, care and love she puts into everything she does.”
