The Harris-Walz campaign today launched “Crowd Size,” a new debate day ad, featuring President Barack Obama alluding to Donald Trump’s insecurities about crowd sizes.

In the campaign, former President Barack Obama appears and emphasizes the Republican candidate’s priorities with the phrase: “Here is a 78-year-old billionaire who has not stopped complaining about his problems…”, as Trump’s image appears.

The Republican is then heard saying, “Oh, he had a big crowd! Oh, that crowd.”

In response, Obama simply notes, amid laughter: “This weird obsession with crowd sizes… it goes on and on and on.”

The new announcement comes just days after a New York Times analysis showed that Trump’s crowds are typically smaller than those of Vice President Kamala Harris, a fact that deeply bothers the former president.

President Obama made the remarks in his speech at the Democratic Convention last month in Chicago, where he criticized Trump for living “complaining about their problems.”

“Tonight’s debate will present the choice Americans will face at the ballot box: between Vice President Harris, who is fighting for all American families, to make our lives better, and the guy who can’t seem to stop thinking obsessively about himself and the size of his crowds”, he emphasizes.

Finally, Obama assures that the United States is ready for a new chapter, “We are ready for President Kamala Harris.”

Already during the Democratic National Convention, Barack Obama emphasized: “I feel excited, I feel ready.”

“America is ready for President Harris,” he stressed, warning at the time: “Now we must all fight for the America we want. And it’s going to be a fight.”
