A Weld County man was sentenced to 112 years in prison after being convicted of sexually assaulting two girls in 2021. James Pinker He was found guilty of four counts of sexual assault of a minor.
A Colorado judge sentenced a man to more than a century in prison for sexually assaulting two 5-year-old girls in a basement nearly three years ago, prosecutors said in a news release.
According to the Weld County District Attorney’s Office, a deputy responded to Rocky Mountain Medical Center on December 12, 2021, regarding two juvenile females, both five years old, who had reported they had been sexually assaulted at a home while visiting a family member.
The victims told investigators they were playing a game called “Monsters” on the ground floor of the house they were visiting, when The accused came down and started playing the “kissing” game with them.When asked what the “kissing” game consisted of, the victims said the accused would put his mouth on their “private parts” and force them to take off their clothes.
During the sentencing hearing, a 17-year-old girl told the judge that the defendant He also used to sexually abuse her when she was a child.
“The defendant’s actions were not only heinous, but shattered the innocence and lives of several young children,” Deputy District Attorney Timothy McCormack said in a statement.
“This sentence reflects the seriousness of his crimes and the justice his victims deserve..Protecting the children of our community is at the heart of our priorities, and while no punishment can repair the harm he caused, the Court’s decision ensures that he will never again have the opportunity to harm another child.”
Pinker, 34, will serve his sentence in the Colorado Department of Corrections.
