U.S. Women's Team Looks to Secure Second Place at U-20 Women's World Cup

United States and Paraguay, both three points behind Spain who with a perfect record are already in the round of 16 of the U-20 Women’s World Cup, will decide the second place in Group C this Saturday at the Techo stadium in Bogotá.

The North American players and the Albirrojas left the city of Cali, where they played their first two matches, and in which both lost to Spain and beat Morocco. And this Saturday they will decide whether to move to the club of the 16 best at the altitude of Bogotá.

The United States, three-time champions of the tournament, are ahead of Paraguay on goal difference and will secure a spot in the second round in the event of a tie.

A draw will be enough for Paraguay to qualify as one of the best third-placed teams.

Venezuela plays everything against Nigeria

The Vinotinto, led by Italian Pamela Conti, comes from a 0-0 draw with South Korea, a match in which they showed a better face than against the Germans and in which they earned their first historic point in the tournament.
