Dan Pfeiffer, who served as an advisor to Barack Obama during part of his time in the White House, not only called into question Kamala Harris’s alleged lead in the polls, Democratic presidential candidate, but warned that if elections were held today, the winner might be Republican Donald Trump.

During an interview given to the website Puck Newsthe expert in strategy and communications He said that most of the survey and data analysts consider that the battle between the New York magnate and the Californian with aspirations of becoming the first female president in American history, It is becoming extremely close, with no clear favourite to win, at least not yet.

“If you ask people who are very aware of the numbers and pay close attention to what happens in the battleground states, The difference is almost 50-50. And I think it’s quite possible that if the election were held today, Trump would win.“, he warned.

Pfeiffer cited as an example what is happening in Pennsylvania, where the population, like in other states, is divided regarding which presidential candidate they plan to support on the ballot on November 5.

“When you look at the poll numbers from the battleground states, they are all undecided, every single one of them.

There is not a single poll of the battleground states where one of the candidates is up or down by more than two points.and most of them are tied, or at some point.

And when you start doing the math of what happens if one of the candidates doesn’t win Pennsylvania, it gets very complicated very quickly,” he stressed.

In this sense, Obama’s former adviser was clear in his words when he indicated that there were “no numbers” in the polls that gave him confidence to project Kamala Harris on the path to victory in the elections.

It should be noted that next Tuesday, citizens will have the opportunity to observe the performance of the vice president and the former president in a debate with a reserved forecast that could influence citizens to decide who they should give their vote to.
