Donald Trump’s campaign team claims that the Republican presidential candidate raised $130 million in August through donations from its supporters.

The 78-year-old politician’s collaborators said that Most of the money raised last month came from individual contributions of less than $200, with an average amount of $56.

With the sum obtained $295 million in cash is available to cover expenses in the last two months of the campaign heading towards presidential elections.

Brian Hughes, senior adviser to the former president’s campaign, issued a statement highlighting the unity and trust that prevails among conservative citizens to push for Trump’s return to the White House.

“With Republicans united and a growing number of independents and disaffected Democrats crossing party lines, the Trump-Vance campaign has momentum heading into the final stretch of the race.

These August fundraising numbers are a reflection of that movement and will propel President Trump’s America First movement back into the White House. “so that we can undo the terrible failures of Harris and Biden,” the letter states.

Although Donald Trump began collecting donations at least a couple of months later, he managed to raise a very significant sum to promote his campaign through major advertising purchases in states historically considered key to winning the election.

However, The force with which Democrat Kamala Harris burst into the race for the White House means that Republican donations are far below the more than $540 million dollars she has accumulated starting July 21st.

With this data, the dispute for obtaining the citizen’s vote appears even closer.

Although polls have begun to show the 59-year-old Californian ahead in some states, most analysts believe that, aside from her financial backing, the real test of the Democrats’ hopes will lie in what may happen in the presidential debate on September 10.
