How should you play the Powerball Double Play?
Double Play is a drawing that gives Powerball players a second chance. You can participate again with your Powerball numbers in a separate drawing, the top cash prize of which is $10 million.
To be eligible to participate, you must add the Double Play feature to your Powerball ticket and you will pay only $1 additional dollar per play.
Additionally, Powerball tickets that include the Double Play feature can win prizes in both drawings.
How do you get your prize?
As with Powerball, prizes must be claimed in the state where the winning ticket was purchased. Players will generally be able to claim a prize of up to $600 at any authorized lottery retailer in the country where they purchased their ticket.
Prizes over $600 can be claimed at the main lottery headquarters in each case. There are also some authorized establishments, which you can quickly find out as appropriate.
You will have between 90 days and a year to claim your ticket, depending on the restrictions in the jurisdiction where the ticket was sold. The expiration date is usually listed on the back of the ticket. If the expiration date is not listed, you should check with your state lottery.
When is the Powerball Double Play played?
Double Play draws take place every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, after the Powerball drawing ends.
