Time passes, but the championships, the memories and the anecdotes remain intact without a doubt and this is precisely part of the history of the club from the White House, Real Madrid, which became, by all rights, the best team of the 20th century, according to FIFA criteria.

And just as the story continues to develop, present for the merengue club, it would not be strange at all if this century of Madrid could revalidate the mark and the recognition mentioned above.

His time at Madrid was a dream come true

Costa Rican goalkeeper Keylor Navas has attested that the competitiveness at Real Madrid, in the dressing room, was completely crazy but in a positive way, simply impressive, and he exemplified it with an anecdote about his time at the club from the capital of Spain, praising the career of the Portuguese striker and current player for Al Nassr of the Saudi Pro League of Saudi Arabia, Cristiano Ronaldo, who was his teammate for several years at the Santiago Bernabéu.

“I have nothing bad to say about Cristiano. From the first “The day I arrived, he treated me like one of them, incredible,” were Navas’ words during an interview on ‘El Buscador on Teletica’, one of the most popular programs in his native Costa Rica.

“I learned a lot from him because of his commitment. He could miss a penalty or a foul in training, but there were never any jokes there, that could come later,” said the Real Madrid goalkeeper during the years 2014 and 2019.

The best player in the world for a reason

“I was also part of many things in his life and I can say “He is not a professional by chance, there are no coincidences in life. Everything he achieved, being the best in the world, the Ballon d’Ors, are things that do not come from a lottery number,” said Keylor Navas, who is currently without a team after having left aside his time as a player for Paris Saint Germain in Ligue 1 in France.
