LA Galaxy: Marco Reus' triumphant debut marks 400 MLS wins

The LA Galaxy’s 2024 season has been a great one and it’s only getting better. On Saturday night, The Los Angeles team beat Atlanta 2-0 with a great debut by German Marco Reus to confirm their leadership in their conference and make history in the process. as the first MLS club to win 400 regular season games.

Marco Reus, the latest European football legend to pull on the Galaxy jersey after being signed last week and who came on as a substitute, had an assist and a goal to be instrumental in his team’s victory. The match was played in front of a packed stadium in Carson and The Galaxy reported that it reached the figure of 10 million fans in its home gamesthe first time this has happened with a team in the league.

But in order to round out the night, Greg Vanney’s team had to work hard. Atlanta United dominated the first half, played more football and actually scored twice, but both times were called offside and the goals were disallowed.

The beginning of a new page with Marco Reus

In short, the Galaxy are doing well, which is always good for MLS, and Los Angeles is having a tremendous year with its two MLS teams.
