Endrick after making his debut as a goalscorer for Real Madrid: “It's a wonderful moment”

Brazilian Endrick stole the show Kylian Mbappé in his debut with Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu this Sunday in the victory over Valladolid (3-0) where the young Brazilian player made his debut as a goal scorer with the Merengue team and in front of his fans.

“Living this moment is wonderful”commented the 18-year-old striker who came on in the 86th minute for the French star and ended up putting the final score to the Merengue victory in the sixth minute of added time with a great play that earned him a tremendous ovation from the white fans.

“We won 3-0, with my family here and they know how much I have worked and suffered, they have suffered too, people criticised me and my family too, my girlfriend too, we have all been through a lot”he added Endrick in an interview with Real Madrid TV after the match.

In just his first appearance, the Brazilian entered the Real Madrid record books by becoming the youngest player to score a goal in the club’s history at 18 years and 35 days, leaving behind Frenchman Raphael Varane who did it in 2011 at 18 years and 152 days, according to Mister Chip.

However, it was not his first goal at the Santiago Bernabéu, where he had already scored last March during a friendly match with the Brazilian national team against Spain played in the stadium in the Spanish capital.

“I am very happy, it is a dream that is coming true. I had already played here at the Bernabéu with the Brazilian national team, I was able to score a goal… But it was not with Real Madrid. Today was my debut with Real Madrid, I am speechless, I can only thank God for everything that is happening to me.”said.

“I am very happy to be with these players, who I only saw in video games, it is very important for me. The first thing I told Ancelotti when I spoke to him is that I offer talent and work, I have continued working and doing what God placed in my life”added the Brazilian.

“I will fail but I will also succeed, I am very happy, very pleased to be here. Players like Bellingham, Vini, Rodrygo, we will be here for a long time and I will be here working and waiting for my moment, I trust the coach a lot and I will wait.”hill.
