More than 100 American citizens have been murdered in Mexico in recent years, as the violence that ravages much of that country does not distinguish between locals and strangers. The latest case is that of two women who were killed during an attempted robbery in the state of Sonora.

A person who was traveling with the victims in the van and managed to survive was the one who narrated how the events occurred, and thus it was learned that the deaths of the Americans were caused by an assault.
Operation to find those responsible
After removing the bodies and beginning the investigation, an operation was carried out to find those responsible. As a result, soldiers and National Guard agents located a van reported stolen. They also seized 90 live rounds, various magazines for long weapons, three bulletproof vests and four AK-47 rifles, but no one was arrested.
