A hard-fought victory

After losing their first game of the season at home last week against Aston Villa (1-2), the Hammers reacted on Saturday and thanks to goals from Czech midfielder Tomas Soucek (m.67) and English winger Jarrod Bowen (m.72) they celebrated their first victory.

“We are very happy to have won these three points in a very difficult match, in a stadium where it is always difficult to score points, but we are a great team with great players and fortunately we were able to overcome adversity.”commented Julen Lopetegui after the match.
