Floyd Mayweather surrenders to Mexican “pedigree”

The former world champion Floyd Mayweather He praised this Thursday, in a public training session in the west of Mexico City, the “pedigree” of Mexican boxers.

Saturday’s fight against Gotti will be Floyd’s first in Mexico, country in which he never fought as a professional, It will also mark a rematch against this fighter, whom he faced for the first time in 2023 in an exhibition that ended in the sixth round, before the eight scheduled, because both fighters insulted each other for much of the fight.

At the end of last year’s fight in Florida, a brawl broke out in the ring between the Mayweather and Gotti teams, and outside it, with some violent fans.
