Young Hispanic woman with severe autism disappears in Los Angeles

A 17-year-old Hispanic woman, diagnosed with severe autism, has been missing since Friday, August 9prompting her relatives and Los Angeles authorities to request help in locating the teenager, the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) announced on Sunday.

The young woman, Sara Nicole Castillo, was last seen by her relatives on Aug. 9 near the 5400 block of Zelzah Avenue, south of the Ventura (101) Freeway in the Encino area, according to the LAPD’s missing persons bulletin.

At approximately 2:00 a.m. on August 10, Sara Castillo was reported missing after it was learned that he was not inside the family residence.
