The world of Mexican football is currently in an extensive crisis and much of the blame for it has been placed on the shoulders of the current directors who are at the head of the Mexican Football Federation (FMF) and the owners of the Liga MX clubs.

Cuauhtémoc Blanco, historic former player of the America Eagles and of the Mexican National Team, recently had very strong words and quite broad and forceful criticism about the decisions that have been made around Mexican soccer, especially in the MX League.

“There is no promotion, no relegation, they don’t make money, there are no players. “How many came from Cruz Azul? How many came from Pumas? How many came from Chivas? How many came from America? There is no one. Before you played with three or four foreigners and all the rest were from the youth teams,” said the current Mexican political official.

Business above Mexican football

For the Mexican idol, fans are increasingly aware of the business that football managers see as sport and care little or nothing about the development and well-being of national football.

“I think the Federation should analyze everything, because they say: ‘Oh, well Atlas is going to go down!’ So the owners put in a lot of money… I don’t give a damn. Son, if you have to go down, you’re going down, and the fans are realizing it,” Blanco Bravo lashed out with rather forceful and direct words.

Cuauhtémoc Blanco asks for more training, a higher level of preparation

Cuauhtémoc Blanco, one of the most important references through Regarding the history of the Mexican National Team, he also requested much more training for the national team in view of the championships to come in the future, just as it happened to him when he was a member of the national team.

“We were going to play with great powers, we were going to play against Francewith very strong teams. Salvador, with all due respect, to Honduras to do business? Go to Europe, damn it, get a match with Spain, get a match with Argentina, even if it’s difficult, but do it. That’s what they have to do with the Mexican National Team,” Blanco concluded.
