“I was born in Chicago, my mother is 100 percent Mexican, my grandmother is from San Luis Potosí and my grandfather is from Monterrey.”My father is 100 percent Ecuadorian, his entire family lives there, and he emigrated to the United States when he was 27, and that’s where he met my mother,” Quezada said in an interview with Mediotiempo.

In its cultural mix Alexis Quezada acknowledged that he was proud to wear the colors of the Mexican national teamHowever, the midfielder clarified that it would be a pleasure to receive a call from any other national team that he could represent.
“I grew up in a 100 percent Mexican environment and it was a dream of mine to come true in Mexico. I don’t want to lie to you, the first offer or opportunity of a selection is coming, whether it is of the three, For me it would be a pleasure because for any player it is a dream to reach a national team.”, he added.
