Julián Araujo is one of the most promising players in Mexican footballThe 22-year-old full-back managed to make the jump from Major League Soccer to FC Barcelona. However, their connection in Spain would come to an end.

The young Mexican defender was registered with FC Barcelona in July 2023. However, Araujo’s opportunities in the team were very few. In fact, The 22-year-old full-back has not played his first official match in a Blaugrana shirt.

I don’t understand the concept of selling Julian araujo and getting Joao cancelo

Julian can actually defend which is something cancelo can’t do. Julian araujo is just 22, while I cancel is 30

After arriving in Spain, Araujo was loaned to Las Palmasa club in the first division of Spanish football. In the Canary Islands team, the Mexican managed to show his potential and this made Xavi Hernández, former coach of the club, would count on your services again.

However, the change of coach played a bad trick on the Mexican. Julián Araujo is doing the preseason with the first team of the Blaugrana, but that would not have caught the eye of new coach Hansi Flick.

Araujo on the Premier League radar

Not counting for next season, reports indicate that FC Barcelona are not planning a new loan for Julián Araujo. The Spanish team would like to get some money for the Mexican’s transfer.

In this sense, reports explain that Julián Araujo’s possible destination would be the English Premier League. Bournemouth are reportedly the club interested in the Aztec’s services.

🚨🇲🇽 Bournemouth are in advanced talks to sign Julián Araujo from Barcelona on permanent transfer.

It is estimated that the English team would be willing to pay a little more than 10 million dollarsThis is a figure slightly above Araujo’s market value.

The Mexican full-back has a contract with the club until June 2026. Although it would be a step down in his career to leave FC Barcelona, Continuity is key to Araujo’s development as a footballer.
