The White House announced that Joe Biden will participate in Kamala Harris’ rally to strengthen his candidacy among his supporters in Marylandbut also to demonstrate to citizens that the president is still trying to resolve the economic and military problems that put global stability at risk.

After Kamala Harris tried unsuccessfully to capture the media’s attention a few days ago during Joe Biden’s reception of Americans released from Russian prisons, the two figures will once again meet in public, this time to reinforce the Democratic presidential candidacy.

Strategists running the 59-year-old Californian’s campaign don’t want to lose the momentum they’ve built so far. which translates into more than $310 million raised, a narrowing of Donald Trump’s lead in the polls, and rallies packed with supporters.

Biden’s advisers are also trying to shake off the idea that, six months before the end of his administration, he has ceased to be functional at the head of the White House. and he only dedicates himself to relaxing both in Washington and at his beach house in Delaware, while the country’s economy shows signs of hiccups due to the lack of jobs created in recent months.

Based on this, it was proposed to “kill several birds with one stone” by bringing together the nation’s president and his vice president in an event where both would be strengthened.

Although the 82-year-old Democrat’s political career is likely to end in January, his party still wants to make the most of his image, given the possibility that Kamala Harris might not convince older white voters and will therefore resort to Biden’s presence, requesting that he support the 59-year-old African-American.

Lacking the strength to endure four more years at the head of government, the president is expected to give at least one speech exposing Donald Trump and from which Kamala Harris can learn before her participation in the presidential debate, since her adversaries continue to describe her as a woman who gets tangled up in her own ideas and ends up uttering phrases or concepts that are difficult to understand.
