How should you play the Powerball Double Play?
Double Play is a drawing that gives Powerball fans a second chance. You can play with your favorite players. Powerball numbers in a separate drawing, the maximum cash prize of which is $10 million.
To play, you must select the Double Play feature on your Powerball ticket and you will only have to pay an additional $1 per play.
Powerball tickets that include the Double Play feature are eligible for prizes in both drawings.
How do you get your prize?
Just like Powerball, prizes are claimed in the state where you went to buy the winning ticket. Players can generally claim a prize of up to $600 at any establishment authorized to sell lottery tickets in the area of the country where they got their ticket.
Prizes exceeding $600 can be claimed at the main lottery headquarters in each case. There are also some authorized establishments, whose address should be duly consulted as appropriate.
You have anywhere from 90 days to a year to collect your prize, depending on the restrictions of the jurisdiction in which the ticket was sold. The expiration date is usually listed on the back of the ticket. If the expiration date is not listed, you should check with your state lottery.
