Gallo Estrada invokes rematch clause against Bam Rodriguez

Juan Francisco ‘Gallo’ Estrada invoked the immediate rematch clause against Jesse ‘Bam’ Rodriguez after losing his World Boxing Council (WBC) super flyweight title by knockout in the seventh round.

According to journalist Dan Rafael, Bam Rodríguez confirmed Gallo Estrada’s official request for a second duel, but assured that would like to do a unification fight next.

“Rodriguez told Fight Freaks Unite that Estrada has formally invoked his contractual right to an immediate rematchso that is the next fight for him. There is no set date yet, but it will likely take place in December,” he reported.
