He Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) leaves a trail of death in each territory where it has a presence, as could be seen recently in the municipality of Zitácuaro, Michoacán, where it abandoned the bodies of 6 dismembered corpses.

The hitmen of the criminal group previously recorded the six victims while they were being interrogated. In the images, which were spread through social networks, the subjects can be seen on their knees with their hands tied while they were surrounded by armed men.

According to what can be seen in the recording, The victims confessed that they were dedicated to stealing and selling drugs. under the alleged protection of a Michoacán police chief, identified as Conrado Corral Leyva.

Once they give the name of the official who protects them, Two of the CJNG hitmen shoot each of the men being questioned and the video ends.

The bodies of the victims were found dismembered and bagged, with signs of torture, in the early hours of August 5. The bodies were abandoned in the parking lot of a car company.

In addition to this, the CJNG placed several banners on various roads in the municipality of Zitácuaro, in which declares war on Conrado Corral Leyva by calling him a criminal.

In addition, opposing criminal cartels operating in the area have also been warned that they will suffer the same fate.

According to local media such as Contramuro, a criminal leader identified as William Edwin Rivera Padillaalias “El Barbas”, is believed to be the main CJNG operator in the Zitácuaro region, and is seeking to take over the region entirely, which is why violent incidents and deaths have increased in Michoacán.
