Cardi B is relieved to stop hiding her pregnancy

After confirming her pregnancy, Cardi B showed off her baby bump. Last week, the singer confirmed she was expecting her third child after announcing that she had filed for divorce from Offset.

On Friday, The rapper was seen strolling around New York while shoppingCardi B wore a J’adore Dior sports top and Acne Studios jeans, which she paired with a headscarf and a Dior bag.

Through her X account, the 31-year-old rapper She expressed her relief at no longer wearing clothes that hide her pregnancy and being able to show it off freely.

“I’m so happy that everyone knows I’m pregnant now I can stop wearing those schoolgirl skirts,” Cardi B wrote.

In recent months, The “WAP” singer has worn many high pleated skirts in an attempt to hide her pregnancyjust as she did for the video for “Wanna Be (Remix)” alongside GloRilla and Megan Thee Stallion.

Last week, Cardi B confirmed her pregnancy by posting a photo on her Instagram account in which she wore a red dress that revealed her belly.

“With every ending comes a new beginning! I’m so grateful to have shared this season with you, you’ve brought me more love, more life, and most of all, you’ve renewed my power. You’ve reminded me that I can have it all! You’ve reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion! I love you so much and I can’t wait for you to see what you helped me accomplish, what you pushed me to do! It’s so much easier to face the twists, turns, and trials of life lying down, but you, your brother, and your sister have shown me why it’s worth pushing through,” the rapper wrote.

Her pregnancy was not the only announcement the rapper madeAt the time, Cardi B also announced that she had filed for divorce from Offset, the father of her two children: Kulture and Wave.

Recently, A source confirmed to Page Six that the reasons that prompted Cardi B to permanently separate from Offset are not related to infidelity.

“They have grown apart. That is what led her to make this decision more than anything else. This is something she wants to do,” the source said. “They have both been on the same page. There was no [rechazo]. They have grown apart and that feeling has become stronger over time. It has become inevitable,” she added.

Cardi B and Offset got married in 2017 and since then their relationship has state marked by ups and downsThe two first split in 2020, when Cardi B filed for divorce citing “irreconcilable differences,” but they reconciled and the singer ruled out splitting at the time.
