How should you play the Powerball Double Play?
Double Play is a drawing that gives Powerball fans a second chance. You can participate again with your Powerball numbers in a separate drawing, which has a maximum cash prize of $10 million..
To participate, you must add the Double Play feature to your Powerball ticket for the price of an additional $1 per play.
Additionally, Powerball tickets that include the Double Play feature are eligible to win prizes in both draws.
How do you get your prize?
Just like Powerball, Double Play prizes will be claimed in the state where you purchased the winning ticket. Players can generally claim a prize of up to $600 at any authorized lottery retailer in the country where they purchased their ticket.
Prizes exceeding $600 can be claimed at the main lottery headquarters in each case. There are also some authorized establishments, whose address you will have to check accordingly.
The time that lotteries give you to claim your ticket ranges from 90 days to one year, depending on the restrictions of the jurisdiction in which the ticket was sold.
