LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman donated $7 million in support of Kamala Harris who is set to officially become the Democratic presidential candidate to replace Joe Biden.

The visionary California businessman made his contribution through the pro-Biden super PAC with the aim of the United States, for the first time in its history, being governed by a woman.

However, In return for her financial support, he sent a message to the current vice president of the nation through an interview given to the news network CNN, where he calls for the removal of Lina Khan from the position of chairwoman of the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).

“Lina Khan is… a person who is not helping the United States. I hope that Vice President Harris will replace her,” he said.

The 35-year-old billionaire has clashed with the FTC head, accusing her of exerting her will in certain business matters beyond the scope of her job duties.

“Antitrust laws are fine, but waging war is not,” Hoffman said.

However, Lina Khan has earned a reputation for taking on certain dominant companies in the oil and technology sectors.so Reid Hoffman’s mention of her work seems to lack compelling reasons to replace her.

In fact, the Californian tycoon is a member of Microsoft’s board of directors and that is where his anger stemmed from with regard to the FTC president, who launched an investigation into a recent agreement between the technology firm and the artificial intelligence startup Inflection.

As if that were not enough, Khan also tried to block Microsoft from acquiring Activision Blizzard, maker of the “Call of Duty” video game, but failed and the transaction was carried out in exchange for $69 billion dollars.

Should the Democrats secure her permanence at the head of the White House, the head of the FTC plans to continue doing her job, unless the request of the LinkedIn co-founder is attended to by Kamala Harris as she demanded after opening her checkbook to allocate her generous donation.
