11 days after the attempted assassination of the Republican presidential candidate, Citizens still do not know what motivated a 20-year-old young man to stand on the roof of a building and start shooting. during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Since FBI agents were unable to capture the lone shooter alive to find out what triggered his rage, a thorough investigation was required, including testimony from people close to him.

Christopher Wray revealed that during a search of the house where the young student lived in Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, another 14 weapons were discovered to the rifle he used to fire at least eight shots intended to kill Donald Trump.

“The weapon that he used for the attempted murder was an AR-type rifle that was purchased legally, that he – as far as I understand – acquired, I think he bought it, actually from his father, who was the one who originally bought it,” he said.

Although Crooks was also found to have purchased a five-foot-tall ladder prior to the shooting, no witnesses have so far been found to have seen him. placing it in the place from where he shot nor when He climbed onto it with the high-caliber rifle.

Regarding the information contained in the mobile phone he was carrying at the time of being executed by FBI agents, it was discovered that he used encrypted messaging applications to communicate.

The researchers They also recovered a drone in the vehicle in which the shooter arrived at the rally. where I knew Donald Trump would be present.

From the discovery It is assumed that he flew over the device to learn about the area and determine the most suitable zone to detonate a pair of explosive devices that he also planned to use. to distract the police and escape from the scene after killing his victim.

“At this point, it appears that because of the on/off position of the receivers, if he had tried to detonate those devices from the roof, it would not have worked, but that does not mean that the explosives were not dangerous,” the FBI director stressed.
