With rumors of Don Pedro Rivera and his girlfriend Nataly Rodriguez getting married, Rosie Rivera is still considering whether she would attend the big event.
On Telemundo’s show “La Mesa Caliente,” Jenni Rivera’s younger sister Rosie joined the panelists, including Giselle Blondet and Verónica Bastos. Without wasting any time, the hosts put Rosie in the hot seat, asking her directly if her father is really getting married and if she would be present at the wedding. Her answer was somewhat ambiguous and left everyone with more questions than answers.
“Rosie, your dad is getting married”Bastos told him, to which Rivera humorously responded: “No one will be my mother. I have a saintly mother.”
“My dad hasn’t told me. I called him and he told me that he gave her a ring, but he didn’t tell me that he’s engaged.”Rivera clarified.
“She is jealous”Bastos said while everyone laughed, including Rivera.
But when asked if she would go to the wedding, if invited, she replied: “I have to admit, I don’t know. I love my father, I want to honor him and it’s nothing against Nataly. It’s the fact that I’m very protective. I’m very defensive and I want to honor my mother.”
“And your mom will be angry if you go”Bastos told him with a laugh, to which Rivera responded: “No, my mom doesn’t care. My mommy doesn’t care, but when you go to a wedding, you’re agreeing to be a witness that ‘I’m okay with it,’ and I don’t know if I’m okay with it anymore. I don’t know.”
“Who knows what will happen”added Myrka Dellanos.
Will Don Pedro get married?
A few weeks ago, 81-year-old Don Pedro Rivera surprised his fans with a video on his YouTube channel, showing that he is ready to take the next step in his relationship. The patriarch of the Rivera family went out in search of the perfect engagement ring to propose to his girlfriend, 42-year-old Nataly Rodriguez.
In the video, Rivera can be seen in the jewelry section of a JCPenney store, carefully browsing through various models and prices to find the perfect ring.
“I’m going to go buy a wedding ring[…] an engagement ring”Rivera said enthusiastically to the camera. After evaluating several options, he finally settled on a $27,000 model.
