Daniel Bisogno is waiting for a liver transplant

With a smile on his face and welcomed by the applause of the public, this is how Daniel Bisogno He returned to the theatre with the play “Lagunilla, mi barrio” several months after being hospitalized and beating death. And it was after leaving the stage that the famous man spoke to the press and gave details about the wait he is undergoing to find a donor and carry out the liver transplant he needs.

Always direct, the presenter of “Ventaneando” stated that although it is not an urgent procedure, he is currently on a waiting list that could take him to the operating room at any time.

“We are in this protocol of a list, suddenly they tell me: ‘Let’s see if someone donates to you’. That is not possible, it has to be a donor who unfortunately has to die, because the liver is not like a kidney, where they can put one in you”, he explained in an interview with the program he hosts.

Despite this, Daniel Bisogno was positive and confident that he will soon be able to undergo this treatment: “We are waiting calmly, without any hurry, because I am fine, so it is something that needs to be done, but there is no major rush, or a matter of life or death, up to now.”, he claimed.

However, the famous actor will not let this waiting period overshadow his professional side, because before saying goodbye to the press he told what his acting plans are and if these include continuing in the production of “Lagunilla, mi barrio”, where he shares the stage with Violeta Isfel and Ariel Miramontes.

“I really want to do several plays that we have in mind and on the way with my dear Alejandro Gou, I would like to do a game show, and see my daughter grow up, of course.“, he explained.

This is not the first time that Daniel Bisogno has spoken out on this subject; let us recall that a few months ago he reported on his doctors’ decision to add his name to the waiting list for a transplant.

“I have already entered a committee, where they decide who and everything, you can’t imagine the number of tests they did on me to be a candidate (…) I am on the list and there is only one girl ahead of me on that list. I am in second place on the hospital list.“, he mentioned at the time.
