Trump says Biden was never fit to be re-elected as US president

Former US President and Republican candidate Donald Trump said on Sunday after Democratic President Joe Biden dropped out of his re-election race that he was never fit for the position.

“Corrupt Joe Biden was not fit to run for president”and he is certainly not fit to hold office, and never was!” the Republican said in a message on the social network Truth.

Trump, who lost to Biden in 2020 and has never admitted defeat, accused the Democrat of having gotten his way “through lies” and claimed that everyone around Biden, including the media, knew “that he was not capable of being president.”

The New York tycoon took the opportunity to attack immigration policy of the Biden administration, which, in his opinion, has allowed the entry of millions of migrants “uncontrolled,” many of whom come “from prisons, psychiatric institutions and a record number of terrorists,” he said.

“We will suffer greatly from his presidency, but we will very quickly remedy the damage he has caused.”the Republican said, assuming that he will win the November 5 elections.

Biden announced Sunday that he is giving up his re-election campaign and is backing Kamala Harris as a possible successor after weeks of internal pressure to throw in the towel following his disastrous performance in the electoral debate with Trump on June 27.
