Crooks, 20, was taken to prison on July 13 after going on a shooting rampage at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, where Trump was speaking.

During the rally, Crooks fired eight bullets, one of which grazed Trump’s ear, causing a bleeding wound, but the former president narrowly escaped fatal injury. The attack resulted in the death of one spectator and serious injuries to two others. Crooks was ultimately shot dead by a Secret Service sniper.
