Soto said that he and Baeva had been planning to publish the statement for some time: “It was already discussed, it was agreed upon. Gabriel added that both he and Irina did everything possible to maintain the relationship: “We had been trying to solve problems for a long time. We went to couples therapy; we did many of the things that need to be done to try to save a relationship. We ended on good terms. I think that you always have to end things with love, with good vibes. A reporter asked the actor about the rumors that he had married Irina some time ago, but he denied it: “We took some photos at my house in Acapulco, but it wasn’t a wedding. They were just some photos where we were dressed as a bride and groom.”

Gabriel said that he is in a stage of adaptation, after several years of relationship with Irina: “I am going through this process with the love of my family, my father, my uncles, my cousins, my daughters, and that is the most important thing.. The truth is that I cannot take responsibility for the actions of others. I am focused on my own thing.”

Soto also revealed that he told his ex-wife Geraldine Bazán about the problems he had in his relationship with Baeva.: “Well, the last few times I spoke to Geraldine I was telling her about the situation, because obviously this also has to do with my daughters. So it was something important for her to know, because it is a movement for the whole family and especially for my daughters as well.” And when journalists asked Gabriel about whether a romance with Galliano could arise, he said: “Oh, I adore Cecilia, I love her with all my heart. She is my best friend for life. She has also supported me a lot in this process, and I love her with all my soul. “Let me get this over with first and then we can talk.”
