It’s been almost 8 years since the death of British musician George Michael, but his name continues to be in the news, especially because his former home in Oxfordshire, UK, is available for rent on Airbnb.
“The property is very popular with the singer’s fans who welcome the opportunity to experience George’s home first-hand,” a source told The Sun.
The residence, located exactly in the village Goring-on-Thames and situated on the banks of the River Thames, it is the perfect retreat for those who wish to spend a few days of rest away from the hustle and bustle and large crowds.
According to the announcement, the house has one bedroom available for guests, so families who tend to travel in large numbers will be eager to see the place. The maximum occupancy allowed is four guests, as it has a large bed and a sofa bed.
The property is completed by a bathroom, hall, kitchen, dining room, main room, laundry room, balcony, among other rooms.
Outside there is a terrace, green areas, a swimming pool with its respective spa area, a barbecue area, among other amenities.
“The pool house in the grounds of Mill Cottage is unique. Guests have exclusive use of the pool. Sitting directly on the Thames, there are plenty of riverside restaurants and cafes to explore on foot or by boat,” reads the description of the listing posted on Airbnb.
The cost of accommodation per night is $710 dollarss, but it can be rented for at least two people, so anyone who wants to stay there will have to pay at least $1640 dollars.
The place is usually rented throughout the year, so it is recommended to make reservations several months in advance.
