After the Cruz Azul defender, during the week, Carlos Salcedo, appeared to testify as part of the investigation being carried out into the murder of his sister Paola, which occurred on June 29 in the town of Huixquilucan, State of Mexico, a town located 25 kilometers west of Mexico City.
This is clear from a mysterious message he posted on his Instagram social network this Saturday, where he said that “We are ready or we are prepared.” a translation of the Italian message “Siamo pronti” (We are soon), wrote the so-called ‘Titan’.
Salcedo appeared to testify on Tuesday because the authorities responded to the public implication made by his mother that the Machine player was the mastermind behind the crime of his blood relative along with his wife.
Carlos Salcedo’s attitude contrasts with the behavior he showed in the first days after the influencer’s attack under the alleged motive of a robbery committed by two criminals who are already facing due process behind bars.
Among the details that the investigations have revealed, Salcedo after the crime refrained from publishing any type of topic on his social networks and it was unofficially handled that he had requested to the Cruz Azul board of directors to be negotiated to an MLS team, supposedly to avoid the weight of the authorities.
But now things seem to have changed and the defender is preparing to return to action to join the team led by Argentine Martín Anselmi, after having one of his best championships last season, being a fundamental piece in the scheme of the cement team to reach the grand final of the Clausura 2024 tournament where they lost to América by a penalty that to this day continues to generate much controversy.
Salcedo played last season, 1194 minutes in 15 games, plus the six matches in the playoffs, where he accumulated 533 minutes to surpass 1600 minutes of global activity, constituting a fundamental piece of the technical scheme of Anselmi.
