Andrés Tovar, Maite Perroni’s husband, confirmed that his wife is not pregnant. The news was denied after journalists Mandy Fridmann and Jacqueline Martínez stated that the RBD member was expecting her second child.
In the Ventaneando program, Andrés Tovar declared “No, well, we thank you for all your good wishes and blessings, but no, it’s not true, no, we are not pregnant, as soon as it is, we will tell you, but not for now.”
The TV Azteca producer was asked why he thought the rumor had arisen, to which he replied:
“No, the truth is that no, no [sé]last time I remember that a paparazzi came out saying that she was pregnant, that he found her and took photos of her. Taking into account that publication, my daughter was born in mid-May, that is, my daughter would have been born at ten months, ten and a half months, well, nothing to do with it.”

Do Maite Perroni and Andrés Tovar want to become parents again?
Maite Perroni’s husband does not rule out the possibility that little Lía may have a brother or sister, but for now he believes that they are fine being a family of three.
“We would like Lía to grow up, of course, with someone else, to grow the family. We are happy with her, of course we are, but we are also letting God and life do their thing. No, we are not in any kind of procedure, far from it. We simply have our life and hopefully it will be like that and whatever God wants.”.
Perroni and Tovar tied the knot on October 8 in an intimate ceremony at a hotel in Valle de Bravo. The wedding was attended only by the couple’s closest friends and family.
The wedding took place months after the relationship was confirmed. The producer proposed to the singer while they were taking a ride in a helicopter.
Shortly after her wedding, she announced that she was pregnant and welcomed her first child, Lía, into the world on June 17, 2023. The singer has already celebrated one year of being a mother.
In addition to her life as a wife and mother, Perroni also dedicated herself to being part of RBD’s comeback tour and later became involved in a legal process against her former manager, Guillermo Rosas, for alleged mismanagement of tour funds.
In fact, Perroni’s husband confirmed that the legal battle is still ongoing. “There is an open process that must take its course, and for the moment, we have decided not to make any statement or comment on the matter, in order to respect the process that is in court.”Tovar concluded.
