How should you play the Powerball Double Play?
Double Play is a drawing that gives Powerball fans a second chance. You can replay your winnings Powerball numbers in a separate drawing, the maximum cash prize of which is $10 million.
To be eligible to participate, you must mark the Double Play feature on your Powerball ticket and you will only have to pay an additional $1 per play.
Please note that Powerball tickets that include the Double Play feature may be eligible to win prizes in both draws.
How do you get your prize?
As with Powerball, Double Play prizes will be claimed in the state where you purchased the winning ticket. Players can generally claim a prize of up to $600 at any authorized lottery retailer in the area of the country where they purchased their ticket.
Prizes over $600 can be claimed at the main lottery headquarters in each case. However, there are some authorized establishments, whose address you will have to check accordingly.
You can claim your prize between 90 days and one year from the date of the drawing, depending on the restrictions in the jurisdiction where the ticket was sold. The expiration date is usually listed on the back of the ticket. If the expiration date is not listed, you should check with your state lottery.
When is the Powerball Double Play played?
Double Play games take place three days a week, specifically Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, right after the Powerball drawing.
