It’s extremely painful and it will hurt for a long time. Gareth will take his time to decide. We wanted to win it for him,” he told ‘ITV’ after Sunday’s match in Berlin.
“It’s hard to put into words how we feel right now. “It was a tough game. We got into the game well and it was hard for us to take advantage of it. Conceding a goal in the last few minutes is very tough,” added the footballer, who recalled that his team has been “coming back” in each tie and has not taken “the next step to win.”
