Alonso said that Uruguay has “a battery of professionals to study the situation” at a legal level.

“When dealing with legal matters, the antecedents have an expiration date. We would not be in that situation here. We will have to see the file when it arrives, see which players are the ones who are being singled out, on which articles they are being charged with the violation and thus we will apply the legal strategy to avoid significant sanctions,” he said.
