The emblematic Casa Azul, which belonged to the late Lucía Bosé, has been on everyone’s lips in recent months, after it was put up for sale and changed owners, who found in its emblematic construction a real gold mine for tourists visiting the community of Brieva, in Segovia.
The property, which belonged to the Bosés for several decades, is fully equipped and can accommodate up to 28 guests, making it the ideal accommodation for large families who like to stay overnight in the same place.
Despite not being located in a city as touristy as many others in Spain, that has not been an impediment for the house to be rented on key dates, such as summer, holidays or the December vacations, this being, in fact, the most popular season.
To rent the house it is necessary to do so for a minimum of two nights and depending on the number of guests is the amount that must be paid per night, since it is not the same to use it for a couple than for a family of 23 members. The cost for two nights can reach up to $2,000 dollars.
According to the technical sheet, released by the site where it is advertised, the famous house of Lucía Bosé has multiple bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, hall, kitchen, dining room, living room, main room, TV room, bar, heated pool, laundry room, terrace, green areas, barbecue area, ping pong table, foosball table, among other rooms and amenities.
The house, which is known as ‘Casa Azul’, was the home of the Bosé matriarch for 23 long years, which is why it had great sentimental value for her, to such an extent that she refused to leave it despite the insistence of her children, especially Miguel, who repeatedly tried to get her to move in with him, but always received negative responses.
The property, of 4,520 square feet and spread over three floors, it was extremely special for the family, but despite this they had to get rid of it due to the extremely high maintenance costs.
Located in a town with very few inhabitants, the Casa Azul is ideal for nature lovers and those who love privacy, which is why it was not only offered, at one time, as a permanent residence, but also as a rural or holiday home.
Lucía Bosé died on March 23, 2020, at the age of 89, at the General Hospital of Segovia.
