If he returns to power, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is ruling out the option of aligning himself with the so-called Project 2025, allegedly promoted by dozens of conservative groups to “restore” the country.

Project 2025 is promoted as a collaboration of organized right-wing groups led by the Heritage Foundation.

According to its rationale, it aims to “restore this country through a combination of the right policies and well-trained people.”

To achieve this goal, he even prepared a manual whose points he intends to implement during the first six months of a government different from the current one.

However, His stated positions on issues such as immigration, abortion and reducing federal bureaucracy represent a 180-degree turn from current policies.

In this regard, through a message published on the Truth Social platform, Donald Trump claimed to have no connection whatsoever to the controversial project.

“I have no idea who is behind this.. I don’t agree with some of the things they say and Some of the things they say are absolutely ridiculous and abysmal.”I wish them luck in everything they do, but I have nothing to do with them,” he wrote.

In response, through a statement released through its account on the X platform, formerly known as Twitter, Project 2025 ruled out that its initiatives had been determined by the political ideas of the New York magnate.

“As we have been saying for more than two years, Project 2025 does not represent any candidate or campaign. We are a coalition of more than 110 conservative groups advocating for policy and personnel recommendations for the next conservative president.

But ultimately it is up to that president, who we believe will be President Trump, to decide which recommendations to implement,” the letter said.

It should be noted that Project 2025, in addition to promoting the idea of reorganizing each federal agency, aims to strengthen families as a pillar of society, put an end to legal abortions, close the border to prevent the arrival of more immigrants and break the dependence on products in the supply chain of the national industry, among other points.
