Ryan Garcia has been left outside of any related activity with the World Boxing Council (WBC)), announced it through social networks Mauricio Sulaimanpresident of the green and gold organization.

The decision to expel him comes after Ryan Garcia was involved in a new controversy, this time of discrimination towards African Americans and Muslims, whom he insulted in a “Space” on the social network X.

Garcia hosted the “Space” and everything was going normally, until the far-right influencer Sneako joined, who recently converted to Islam and who immediately told him “Fuck…” and “Fuck the Muslims”. In the same space he also attacked the black population, to whom he told that he hated them and that he was part of the Ku Klux Klan, among other phrases.

After this, Sulaiman reacted strongly:

“In exercise of my authority as president of the WBChereby I expel Ryan Garcia from any activity with our organization. “We reject any form of discrimination. I fear for Ryan’s well-being as he has refused multiple attempts at our assistance with mental health and substance abuse evaluation and treatment,” she wrote on her different social networks.

Curiously, this message comes days after Mauricio Sulaimán himself said that there would be no retaliation against García for his erratic behavior and his controversies, such as the positive doping test for ostarine after his fight against Devin Haney, but on the contrary, at the time the WBC boss asked for support and understanding for the 25-year-old boxer; however, it seems that this was the straw that broke the camel’s back and radically changed his speech.

So far, García has not responded to the message, nor has he made any statement on the matter.
