Juan Osorio announced, exclusively for Televisa Espectáculo, that the play ‘Aventurera’ will have a new actress. The renowned producer assured that he will reveal the name of the new ‘Elena Tejero’ on July 18.
Through its X account, formerly Twitter, the media outlet wrote “Producer Juan Osorio confirmed exclusively to #TelevisaEspectaculos that the new Aventurera will be announced on July 18, the same day that Nicola Porcella will premiere… And these are not the only surprises that are being prepared: on August 3, Emilio Marcos will perform alongside La Sonora Santanera.”
The publication does not clarify whether Irina Baeva will leave the main role of the play, however, by mentioning a “new Adventurer”, it could indicate that the participation of Gabriel Soto’s girlfriend will end on July 18.
For the moment, the actress of Russian origin has not announced that she will abandon the role of the important theatrical work, which – in the past – has starred Niurka Marcos and Susana González.
What’s happening with Irina Baeva?
Since the premiere of ‘Aventurera’, starring Irina Baeva, the production and the actress have received countless criticisms.
The public has said that the actress does not have enough rhythm to embody the role of ‘Elena Tejero’, whose main attraction is the way she moves on stage.
One of the main detractors of Baeva’s inclusion in the cast was Niurka Marcos. In a video she said that there were other actresses in Mexico who could have played the role much better.
Osorio came out to defend her choice and told Marcos that she should be grateful because he was the one who gave her the first opportunity to act in the Aztec country, a response that infuriated the Cuban.
“You don’t know what you just did, baby. What do you call a person who makes up a lie and believes it? Look, I’ll give you some direction: Where did you meet me? Where did you get dazzled? Bobito, your talent is to bring together many talents that are already prepared. You haven’t made anyone,” were part of Marcos’ words.
The actress also commented that Osorio was better at producing soap operas rather than theatre.
Like the producer, the star has responded to her critics, assuring that the negative comments do not affect her.
On the show El Gordo y La Flaca he said “All criticism is welcome as long as it is constructive, everyone can have an opinion and a comment on the matter, the truth is that there are many things, you may love hamburgers and I may not like them, there is absolutely nothing wrong with that, as they say, tastes differ… it is okay that someone likes it, it is okay that someone does not like it, it is totally normal, nothing is black or white in this life.”
