The heat wave that hits California may be high risk due to extreme temperatures which are recorded in several regions.
The worst heat conditions are expected in California’s Central Valleywhere high temperatures of up to 110 degrees are forecast to last for 10 days.

In addition, high temperatures and low humidity also create a prolonged period with a risk of forest fires breaking out, from high to criticalin areas far from the coasts, according to meteorologists.

Specialists expect that This Friday, July 5th, will be the hottest day of the weekwith temperatures rising between 2 and 4 degrees, reaching highs of between 110 and 115 degrees inland, 100 to 105 in the valleys, 90 degrees in inland coastal areas and 80 on the beaches.
These temperatures are 6 to 12 degrees above normal on the coasts. and 12 to 18 degrees higher than usual in the valleys and inland areas.

The NWS said that An extreme heat warning is in effect until 6:00 p.m. on Monday, July 8. for the 5 and 14 freeway corridors, the western San Gabriel Mountains and the Antelope Valley foothills, regions where temperatures could reach as high as 115 degrees.
An excessive heat warning is in effect from Wednesday until 6:00 p.m. Monday. in the Santa Clarita Valley, Santa Monica Mountains Recreation Area, Calabasas, San Fernando Valley and the eastern San Gabriel Mountains, where temperatures of 110 degrees are possible.
A less severe heat warning is in effect until 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 7 for the San Gabriel Valleyalthough thermometers could record highs of 105 degrees.

For the coastal area of Los Angeles, which extends to the city center, is under a heat alert until 6:00 p.m. Sundaywith maximum temperatures between 85 and 95 degrees.
In Orange County, A heat advisory is in effect for the Santa Ana Mountains and Foothills. and indoor areas from 11:00 am this Friday until 9:00 pm on Saturday, July 6, with maximum records up to three digits.
