Former President Donald Trump on Sunday expanded on social media a request made by another Twitter user. a televised military tribunal to try former Republican Rep. Liz Cheney and the imprisonment of senior elected officials, including President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, according to CNN.

“ELIZABETH LYNNE CHENEY IS GUILTY OF TREASON,” reads a post created by another user that Trump amplified on his social media website Truth Social on Sunday. “REVERSE IF YOU WANT TELEVISED MILITARY TRIBUNALS.”

Cheney responded in X: “Donald, this is the kind of thing that proves once again that you are not a stable adult and you are not fit for office.”

Before losing his bid for reelection in 2022, Liz Cheney served as vice chair of the House committee on January 6 and was one of 10 House Republicans who voted to impeach Trump after the attack on the US Capitol.

A separate post Trump amplified on Truth Social also on Sunday includes photos of 15 former and current elected officials and says, “THEY SHOULD BE GOING TO JAIL ON MONDAY, NOT STEVE BANNON!”

In addition to Biden and Harris, the post includes photographs of Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, former Vice President Mike Pence and members of the House select committee that investigated the January 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol.

A Trump campaign spokeswoman contacted by CNN did not address Trump’s posts, but instead He pointed out what he described as the “political persecution” of the former president by the January 6 committee.

The Biden campaign denounced the posts in a statement, saying Trump “is doubling down on threats to our democracy,” adding that “the Supreme Court has now cleared the way for him to do exactly what he says he will do if he wins.”

Trump has repeatedly called for the imprisonment of his political opponents, often pointing the finger at members of the January 6 committee. And he has vowed to pursue legal action against senior elected officials if he wins re-election to the White House in 2024.
