Chiquis Rivera does not remain silent when she feels that injustices are being committed against her.
The “Queen Bee” singer recently spoke about people who have inappropriate gestures and basically said that life itself and her actions are responsible for exposing them. Due to reports of her conflict with people in her family and the comments made by her grandmother, Doña Rosa Saavedra, Jenni Rivera’s mother, during the ceremony in which Jenni was awarded a star on the Walk of Fame, Internet users assume that the innuendo is directed at Doña Rosa.
Chiquis, 39, uploaded a video to her TikTok talking about what she calls “false Christians,” while criticizing the behavior of people who do not practice what they preach, even if they claim to be “people of God.”
In her TikTok video, Chiquis said: “You know what I can’t stand? People who hide behind the Bible. They are always the first to judge, to talk shit… the first to spread poison.”
He then elaborated on the idea: “I mean, I don’t understand that. You go to church every Sunday, maybe twice a week, and yet you are not setting an example. If you want other people to come to the Lord, then you need to act a certain way and not do certain things so that people will want to go to church and know more about God. But when you’re throwing shade, talking shit, and your actions don’t match your words, that’s when people say, ‘oh, the fake Christians.’”.
Finally, he reflected: “What good is it to talk about God and the good things of God if you are not behaving as you should? If you are not living with good intentions. The point of the story is ‘Practice what you preach’, but what you preach, teach me by example. That’s all I’m trying to say here. Although Chiquis did not mention names, due to the proximity in time with Doña Rosa’s video, it is assumed that she is also referring to the members of her family with whom she currently has a distant relationship.
