The Uruguayan national team won with a fair score of 1 goal to 0 against The United States, the host national team of this year’s Copa América, were eliminated, and the Charrúas managed to obtain their ticket to the quarterfinals of the continental competition in an undefeated manner with a total of 9 points, obtained through 3 victories.
Uruguay now awaits its quarter-final opponent which will be decided on Tuesday between the national teams of Colombia and Brazil.
A mistake and Uruguay capitalized on it
The United States simply did not create clear-cut chances. to win the match, something that Uruguay definitely took advantage of.
