Fourth of July holiday: which banks will close their doors

This Thursday, July 4, the United States Independence Day is celebrated and Due to it being a federal holiday, many public entities and services will close their doors. throughout the day, as is the case with banks and post offices.

In the American calendar this day is marked as a national holiday, commemorating the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776 in which the US proclaimed its formal separation from the British Empire.

The Fourth of July holiday features parades, speeches, concerts, family gatherings, and fireworks, among other activities.

Banks and post offices that will be closed

This Thursday, Bank branches of Bank of America, JPMorgan Chase, Capital One, PNC, Truist, CitiBank among others will be closedalthough online banking will be possible and Capital One cafes will remain open.

On the other hand, if you need to mail a package this week it is best to plan before or after the 4th of July, as many of the offices such as UPS and FedEx will remain closed that day.

However, both Priority Mail Express and UPS Express Critical are available 365 days a year even on holidays, according to the websites of both companies.
